Clothing Culture Creators is a Belgian non-profit organisation building a culture of care around clothing and textiles.
We bring people together through education, creative projects, research and hands-on experiences. By exploring the stories, skills and materials behind what we wear, we help people form more meaningful and lasting relationships with clothing.
Because clothing is never just a product. It carries memories, identity, craftsmanship, culture and human connection.

Today’s clothing system encourages us to buy quickly, use briefly and discard easily. We want to help create a different culture: one based on attention, appreciation and responsibility.
For us, care means looking after the garments and materials already in our lives. It also means caring for the people who make, wear, repair and pass them on — and for the communities and natural resources connected to them.
We call this a culture of care.
Clothing is close to our bodies and woven into our everyday lives. It can express who we are, connect us to others and carry stories across generations.
That makes clothing a powerful starting point for wider change.
Through clothing, we explore questions about identity, heritage, grief, belonging, consumption and sustainability. We create spaces where people can learn practical skills, exchange stories and imagine new ways of making, using and valuing textiles.
We develop talks, workshops, learning programmes and educational materials about clothing care, repair, circular fashion, sustainable textiles and conscious consumption.
We initiate and support projects centred on repairing, reusing and transforming clothing. These practical experiences help extend the life of garments while restoring knowledge, confidence and connection.
We create participatory art projects, exhibitions, conversations and community gatherings in which clothing becomes a medium for storytelling, remembrance, identity and social connection.
We conduct practice-based research into circular textile systems, emotional attachment to clothing and the behaviours that help garments remain in use for longer.
We share knowledge and experiences through publications, podcasts, films, exhibitions and other cultural formats.
Our work connects ecological responsibility with human experience.
Circular fashion is not only about materials, recycling technologies or measurable impact. It is also about why people choose to keep, care for, repair and pass on particular garments.
