Soraya Wancour

Soraya Wancour is the founder of Studio AMA. After her studies at La Cambre, Soraya discovered that the current fashion production methods could be much more sustainable. She founded Studio AMA as a testing ground for ethical fashion. With her brand AMA, Soraya sends a clear message “considering usable material as waste is not done”.

She resolutely opts for second-hand material and production residues including surplus mattress covers and bath towels. This systemic approach combines the circular with the social economy by producing in a social manufacturing company in Belgium.

In addition to being a designer, Soraya is also a speaker, an adviser and concept developer within several local and European projects on circularity in fashion.
